Curriculum Vita
Gary Stuart retired from active law practice on December 31, 2023. He was a member of Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, P.C. from 1967 to 1998. He also practiced as a solo lawyer at Gary L. Stuart, P.C. from 1999 to 2023. He is profiled in Who’s Who in American Law (First Edition), Martindale-Hubbell’s Premier American Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, and Arizona’s Finest Lawyers. He was inducted into the Maricopa County Bar Hall of Fame in October 2010. The National Institute of Trial Advocacy honored him with its Distinguished Faculty designation in 1994. Stuart completed an eight-year term on the Arizona Board of Regents, and served as its President in 2004-2005. He taught as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law (2000-2005). He taught as Adjunct Faculty at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law (1994—2023).
